Leftover Bread Snack- Sweet Bread Balls

These Crispy, mildly sweet Bread Balls for tea brings back lot of childhood memories each time I make them. It's extremely easy to make & ready in 10 mins. How many of you have tried these? And those who have not yet, save this for later 🤗 See written method 👇👇👇👇 (video uploaded too) Ingredients :  Bread slices - few leftover or bread ends Milk - Little to soak Cardamom Powder -1/2 tsp Sugar - to taste Coconut - 2 Tbsp (Optional) Method: 🔸Take some bread , slice & add in a bowl. I also break them to small pieces or sometimes blend it in the mixer jar till it forms crumbs. Use any method you please 🔸Add milk to soak it 🔸Add sugar as desired 🔸Add cardamom powder (optional) & coconut (optional) 🔸Mix all well and mash 🔸Make sure it's not too liquidy. Sweet Dosa Snack- with Banana

This is another quick snack with leftover dosa batter. It is mildly sweet and perfect with some coffee. This snack is very easy to make, and I have made them in appe pan. If you don't have appe pan you can also deep fry them. I personally prefer the one made in appe pan, since it uses less oil. This is also a very good way to use over ripe banana's.  A similar recipe which is  Banana Dosa  for kids is up on the blog too. Punugulu - Snack with Dosa-Idly Batter

Punugulu is an easy tea time snack made with leftover idli batter.(Idli batter is a fermented rice and urad dal batter). I have shared Idly-Dosa batter recipe  in another post. Punugulu or punnukullu is a common street snack in the coastal regions of Andhra.These are crisp deep fried snack that can be enjoyed with some spicy Chutney  and a hot cup of tea. There are different versions of it, many make with fresh batter, many with leftover sour batter. I usually have dosa- Idly batter ready for the week and a sudden demand for snack ends up into these wonderful, tasty and easy Punugulu. Lets see how its done: Step by step image given below. Instant Leftover Rice Dosa- Quick Breakfast

In our busy schedules, we often forget to prep our meals for the next day, well it often happens with me. Pre-planning is amazing and perfect, but what if we forget?? Thats when these instant breakfast ideas come handy. This is one such quick recipe which I found in Hebbar's Kitchen  and thought its interesting. Chana/Black Chickpea Rice/ Kadala Rice

I am a big fan of One pot meals and I keep making them every week atleast once. Its non messy, quick, stress free and yet so so delicious and nutritious. We usually prefer rice for lunch and there are some days when you want it to be wholesome meal yet quick and easy. This is yet another quick, easy and delicious one pot rice, made from  leftover  channa / black chickpeas. You can make this with fresh cooked channa/ chickpea as well. To make it more nutritious I have added carrot and beans as well. You can add whatever veggies you have in hand or you can completely avoid.
